Do you remember the place and the time when you first began to wonder about your existence? Why you are here and more importantly, where did you came from? Of course, there's also the age old question - what happens to you when you die? These are big questions with elusive answers and yet, when you open your heart and your head you start to see that the clues to help you find the answers are all around. You just need to pay attention and be open to receive them.
Like so many of us, my life was so full with the busyness of living that I didn't start asking these questions until later in life. Now as I'm approaching my 60th birthday, I'm finally realizing that life is so much more than just "busyness". I've come to understand that we are all inherently connected. Regardless of our religious beliefs we all start life from the same source of energy. That energy remains with us throughout life and how we choose to use our source energy is up to us.

I really didn't know how to live life effectively. Life just kind of "happened" to me. I had non specific goals and dreams but no real plans other than to make it to retirement and then pursue a hobby or something. In late 2008, I was challenged to change some of my habits and my thoughts. At the time I didn't fully understand the significance of that challenge but I was willing to accept instruction and guidance. I was working through the process of changing my thoughts and habits when I came across the book, "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne. Rhonda's book gave me the "how to's" to live a bigger, better life and I was excited about it. I have a deep faith but living it was a tough job.
Many of the principles in The Secret were directly and immediately applicable to my life and living my faith became easier. Thoughts DO become things! Thoughts are what govern our lives, for better or for worse. I am hopeful that you will find something here that will help you live your life effectively every day.
